Department Profile
Established in 1832, Brockville Fire Department, in Ontario, has two fire stations serving a population of 22,000 across 8 square miles. The department’s 28 career firefighters respond to approximately 750 incident calls per year. Situated on the shore of the St. Lawrence River and the Thousand Islands Region, Brockville is home to Canada’s first railway tunnel, which opened in 1860.
