This course is designed to help prepare the technician in taking the EVT A1 certification exam. Included will be a review of the general design and performance standards for ARFF vehicles as described in FAA Advisory circular 10E. NFPA 1900/1910 (NFPA 414 Chapter 21) (NFPA 1911 chapters) Also covered are general principles of preventative maintenance and servicing. NFPA 460 standard for aircraft rescue and firefighting services at airports and (NFPA 412).
