Classes

E-ONE strives to provide your department and employees with product knowledge and the technical skills to safely and effectively operate E-ONE fire apparatus. We offer a selection of training courses, including familiarization with specific products, operations and maintenance, as well as courses that help in preparation for EVT exams. Search our classes by subject and by month, register online and travel to our state-of-the-art facilities in Ocala, Florida, for your session. You will be personally greeted and, if the class schedule allows, given a full tour of our manufacturing processes. Please note that there is a $100 fee for canceling registration within 30 days of the class date.

Electric – Multiplex System

This course will provide an overview of multiplex theory and operation. Thorough instruction on the purpose and location of components will be covered which includes logic circuits, multiplex components, module locations, vehicle interface, logic circuits and troubleshooting using the display.

EVT 3 Pumps & Accessories

This course is designed to help prepare the technician for taking the EVT F3 certification exam. Covers the standards as described in NFPA 1900: Standard for Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Vehicles, Automotive Fire Apparatus, Wildland Fire Apparatus, and Automotive Ambulances (NFPA 1901 Chapters) and NFPA 1910: Standard for the Inspection, Maintenance, Refurbishment, Testing and Retirement of In- Service Emergency Vehicles and Marine Firefighting Vessels (NFPA 1911 Chapters). Please note that this test draws from the 2024 editions. You are required to register for the EVT exam at least two week prior to the start of the class. Aerial 1

Entry level course developed to educate the technician on the different types of E-ONE aerials devices, how they differ, and how they are used. Learn what makes each model unique. With special emphasis on hydraulic and electrical systems and mechanical systems. Learn basic troubleshooting procedures to increase your knowledge and performance level. EVT F1 Standard for Inspection & Maintenance

This course covers the maintenance, inspection, and testing of fire apparatus as described in NFPA 1910: Standard for the Inspection, Maintenance, Refurbishment, Testing and Retirement of In-Service Emergency Vehicles and Marine Firefighting Vessels (NFPA 1911 Chapters).  You are required to register for the EVT exam at least two week prior to the start of the class.
