With over 30 years of experience producing chassis, E-ONE chassis have a proven track record of durability. With either the Typhoon or 100” wide Cyclone cab, each is built with a roll-cage design, providing maximum protection for first responders. Structural extrusions including sub-frames, a full flange wishbone frame rail, center uprights, and crossbeam extrusions are engineered for optimum strength and durability. These rugged cabs can withstand over five times the static roof load and over twice the frontal impact required by NFPA. Cab strength, coupled with front and side roll-over air bags, provides the ultimate in crew protection.
Both the Typhoon and Cyclone cabs feature excellent visibility for the driver and crew with a wraparound windshield design, heavy-duty interior, low-profile or raised-dash center console, high-performance air conditioning system, LED lighting and more. The cabs are available in five lengths with flat or 12” to 24” Vista roof height, multiple seating configurations, various internal storage options and lighting packages to meet departments’ needs.
